The Windows Phone Developer Platform team is looking for a Senior SDET with a strong passion for UI Frameworks that can help us deliver the next generation application development platform for Windows Phone.
Opportunities for you in this position:
Become a technical leader working on the next generation application development platform for Windows Phone
Contribute to the platform from the early planning stages to a successful release
Collaborate with several key partner teams within Microsoft to achieve the common goals for our development platform
Work on cutting edge technology and lead the innovation of test automation for the new platform
Responsibilities include:
Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing test systems across the developer platform team
Own and drive the quality of key features in our platform and tools
Help build the right set of QA tools, frameworks, methodologies and infrastructure to test these efficiently
Collaborate closely with a talented PM and Dev team, as well as cross-divisional partner teams
Qualifications:
Deep knowledge in test processes and design and development of efficient test infrastructure
Strong coding and debugging skills (C# or C++)
Proven track record in delivering great results via cross-discipline and cross-group collaboration
Knowledge of XAML, Silverlight or WPF
Experience in testing UI Frameworks, graphics, media or networking APIs is a big plus
5+ years software industry experience with end-to-end product testing
